Terms & Conditions
1. Deposits & Payments:
• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your order and event date.
• The remaining balance is due 5 days prior to pickup/delivery (weddings or large events may require earlier final payment).
• The design process and production will not begin until payment is made in full.
• Delays in payment without communication may result in cancellation of your order or a delay in pickup/delivery.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
• Deposits are non-refundable.
• Every creation is custom-made to reflect your vision. Because of the personalized nature of our work, we cannot accept cancellations, returns, or exchanges.
• If cancellation occurs after the final payment is made, refunds are not guaranteed. At my discretion, a credit may be issued for a future order.
• If I must cancel due to an unforeseen circumstance, a full refund — including the deposit will be issued.
If an error occurs on our end, we will gladly make it right. Last-minute changes may incur a fee.
3. Order Changes
• Changes to flavors, design, or size must be made no later than 7 days before your event date. After this point, adjustments cannot be guaranteed.
• Pickup or delivery time changes cannot be made within 24 hours of the scheduled time. I will do my best to accommodate, if possible, but it will depend on my availability for the day.
4. Cake Style & Inspiration
•Inspiration photos are welcome, but I do not promise to replicate another baker’s work. These photos help me understand your vision and the style you like, but every cake and treat are created with my signature artistry. Slight variations in design, color, or decoration may occur.
5. Allergies & Dietary Restrictions
• Please disclose any allergies when placing your order.
While I can accommodate some requests, my kitchen is not allergen-free (contains dairy, gluten, nuts, etc.), and I cannot guarantee cross-contamination will not occur.
6. Pickup & Delivery
• Pickup will take place in Elizabeth, New Jersey. The exact address will be confirmed once payment in full has been received, typically 2–3 days prior to your event.
• Delivery addresses must be provided at the time of booking. Delivery fees are based on distance, and setup fees are additional.
• For delivery, fees vary by location. Long-distance delivery is available only for weddings and larger events.
• I do not charge a late fee; however, if you arrive late for pickup or delivery, I cannot guarantee availability beyond the scheduled time.
7. Photography & Social Media
• I reserve the right to photograph and share images of my work for marketing and portfolio purposes.

8. Liability
• Once the cake or treats are in the client’s possession, Milani’s Sweet Tooth is not liable for damages, accidents, or food handling issues that may arise.
